Who We Are
Welcome to Yield and Convert – a place where we make farming approachable for everyone. This page is about Yield and Convert: who we are, why we started, and what we care about.
We believe farming knowledge should be clear, practical and free from confusing jargon. Whether you live on a lifestyle block, run a full-scale farm, or just want to understand rural life from the city, you’re in the right place.
Why We Started This Site
Yield and Convert began with a simple goal – to make good information easy to access. As farmers ourselves we saw how often people felt overwhelmed or excluded by technical language and gatekeeping. So we decided to build something different: a space where people at every level could feel welcome, informed and empowered.
What You’ll Find Here
For example, on this site, you’ll find tips tools, blog posts and real life insights about farming, sustainability, livestock health, pasture management, gardening and more. We don’t pretend to know everything. However, we share what we do know with honesty, care, and a desire to help others grow.
This isn’t just about production and profit. It’s also about people – supporting the lifestyle block owner, planting their first veggie garden, the new family trying regenerative grazing and the curious urbanite asking, “How does that actually work?”
We’re here to help bridge the gap. In other words, no big talks. No fluff. Just honest, down-to-earth farming advice – from people who live it.
We’re passionate about creating a community that values learning, sharing and growing together. Yield and Convert isn’t just a website – it’s a reflection of how we live and what we care about. We are glad you are here.
Whether you’re here to learn, share or simply stay curious, we’re excited to grow alongside you. Let’s keep things simple, honest and rooted in real life.
Thanks for stopping by Yield and Convert. We hope you feel at home here!
We support initiatives like DairyNZ who provide practical advice, research and tools to help New Zealand dairy farmers thrive sustainably.
